Brief Biography of King Witiza
Witiza was a Visigoth king who was born around the year 687 AD and he died around the year 710 AD.He became king as he succeded his father, although he was the Suevi´s king,Witiza accepted the throne as the visigoth's king.He reduced Jewish persecution and tried to correct Clergy corruption.Witiza was a king of the Visigoth Kingdom of Toledo in the Iberian Peninsula.As there was a civil war inside The Visigoth Kingdom of Toledo, the Witiza´s family side ask for help to a muslim group from The Islamic Empire which was located on the north of Africa.Despite he led the thore to his son, the ones who were banished by Witiza´s father, seized the moment to crown Don Rodrigo.

Musa: Yes, of[[#| course]]. Journalist: Who you contacted with to enter The Iberian Peninsula? Musa: I did't contact anybody.actually, The witiza's family side contacted me to help them to defeat Don Rodrigo's supporters. I am a nice person, so i wnte to help them. I sent soldiers commanded by the general Tariq. Jounalist: I see,.. and what did they promise you in exchage of your help? Musa: In exchange, they offered me more money and some small territories in The Visigoth Kingdom of Toledo. Journalist: After the battle, why did you stay in the Iberian Peninsula? Musa: Well, they never gave us the money nor lands in exchange, so we decided to stay and conquertheir kingdom. Journalist: When you did this, which cultural, religious and social inputs did you share with the inhabitants? Did you murder locals or mix with them? Musa: Our soldiers did not kill anybody! Of course not. In fact we only wanted to spread our religion over new territories. But some people did not want to cange their religion, so we did not forced them to did it.
